- Subject: How to set up a BBS?
- Lines: 16
-
- I'm stuck in the 814 area code, Erie, PA, and there are no internet
- accessable BBS's around (to my knowledge). Being an overmotivated psychotic
- I just might set up my 386 as a BBS to alleviate this problem. Can someone
- give me a rough, thumbnail sketch of just what I'd have to do to start this
- long and complicated process? I'll probably end up running Linux and getting
- a 14.4K modem. What other resources are usually needed, and what is my phone
- bill going to look like?
-
- What am I getting myself into??
