  28. I've had quite a few Kenyi (a mouthbrooder) spawns in my tanks 
  29. with under gravel filters and have had no problems.  What I have 
  30. seen in their behavior is the clearing of a rather large nest--like 
  31. you say, going all the way to the UGF.  However, every _spawn_ that I
  32. have witnessed has occured on top of a flat rock.  I provide
  33. a good variety of rocks for my kenyi to play (and spawn) in and
  34. they seem to be apreciative.  I've never bothered with turning off
  35. the pump.

  38. experience.
