  31. Actually, the Great Wall of China *can* be seen with the naked eye. I have 
  32. seen a normal (i.e. no magnification, flash (just kidding on the last 
  33. one!)) photograph of Earth from space, and it did show the Great Wall, 
  34. although it was quite dim. Of course, we all know that it wasn't built 
  35. with space people in mind.....(unless there's something I don't know about)

  37. I am also guessing that you meant things that aren't illuminated, like cities,
  38. 'cos they can be seen at night.
