- Based on those definitions, my statement is true. In reality, there is
- no pure example of fascism, socialism or capitalism. In political
- science, fascism = statism (dominance of the government over the
- individual). Both socialism and capitalism try very different
- methods to avoid this but all actual examples have some statism in
- them. The rhetoric of socialism is appealing to the masses so
- outright fascists will generally use some of it to gain popularity.
