- Tim Arnold is the system administrator for the Statistics Instructional
- Computing Lab (SICL) at North Carolina State University. Those of you
- interested in the FreeNet should take a look at his policies, as set
- forth in his SICL Introductory Manual:
-
- # All student accounts are monitored randomly [...] Any files
- # that do not relate to the class for which the student is enrolled
- # will be removed.
-
- (Ah, I thought you said FREEnet.)
-
- # You have 500 kilobytes allocated to your SICL account [...]
- # It is best to keep this number below 400.
-
- (Saves him time when he goes through your files.)
-
- # You can always connect to SICL, except for:
- # - from 8:00 am to 9:00 am Monday-Friday. This time is reserved
- # for SICL maintenance.
-
- (Or, in other words, this is when Tim goes through everyone's files.)
-
- Something to think about... post if you want more details.
