  20. When I took a philosophy course in ethical theory, one of the books we used
  21. was called 'Human Rights' by Alan Gewirth.  In it, he constructs an ethical
  22. theory based on (of all things) reason.  He also has another book which I
  23. think is called 'Reason and Morality'.  I'm not sure about the title, I never
  24. read it, but remember it was mentioned in 'Human Rights'.
