  28. the net last fall, after being bested in debate with me, to refrain
  29. from dialog because you cannot control your abusive temper.  You also
  30. have another note on this thread asking how you can carry a gun in
  31. Massachusetts and this leads me to believe that you are a dangerously
  32. angry person.

  34. "The writings of Socrates" is infelicitous, especially to pedants.  I am
  35. of course aware that Socrates did not "write" except in Derrida's sense
  36. and that Plato transcribed dialogues.  Your rage also has to do with the
  37. lese-majeste of having a Real Stud like Socrates being soiled with the
  38. implied association with writing.
