- have another note on this thread asking how you can carry a gun in

- "The writings of Socrates" is infelicitous, especially to pedants. I am
- of course aware that Socrates did not "write" except in Derrida's sense
- and that Plato transcribed dialogues. Your rage also has to do with the
- lese-majeste of having a Real Stud like Socrates being soiled with the
- implied association with writing.
