- No way, the Democrats do that all the time, but the Republicans never nominate
- someone who has no chance of winning the office. Quayle will disappear after
- he leaves the Veep seat. (Unless he becomes President by the death of GB,
- in which case the Republican '96 campaign will be more vitriolic that the '76,
- with people challenging a sitting President.)
