- A Sea Story in 100 Words
-
- No shit, there we were... steaming through the Golden Gate with two
- million barrels of Alaskan north slope. The whole cruise, Woodyatt was
- whining about how there ain't any decent beer in Valdez. Anyway, the
- pilot had just come on the bridge when the Old Man said, ``Look's like
- I'm gonna win the anchor pool again. I'm gonna *need* that keg.''
- Woodyatt gets this evil smile, locks the rudder hard right, kills the
- steering system and walks off the bridge -- the rest is history. The
- bartender at the Starry Plough was the last person to ever see him
- alive.
