- I caught the iridescent silver and blue-green lightning ball in one
- hand and the force almost jolted my arm out of the socket, the thing was
- so heavy. It arced towards the ground and it was all I could do to keep
- from dropping it. And as it neared the bottom of its arc, the golden
- lightnings that crackled and whispered from it struck the ground and
- there arose a mighty topiary, bristling green and black wit hthe leaves
- of the west, in the shape of a giant topiary. First it was a cone and
- then a bear. I clutched the lightning ball to my breast and felt thing
- tingling as the tiny sparks jumped through my heart. Wow.
