  16. I don't know about the brother that Chaney refers to, the
  17. one who's been disowned and disinherited, but Steve Chaney
  18. has told the group that he's adopted.  Hearing stories about
  19. adoptive parents who feel they have the right to throw the 
  20. kids out at the first sign of insubordination would make me 
  21. very uncomfortable if I were a young woman trying to decide
  22. between abortion and the prospect of carrying a pregnancy to
  23. term, with the hope of adoption into a loving home for the
  24. resulting infant.
