- Rather than point out what an idiot you're being, I'll stick with the
- facts regarding the topic at hand. The birth control pill works two
- ways. The primary effect is to prevent fertilization of the egg. A
- "backup" if that fails is to prevent implantation. (I.e., act as an
- abortifacient.) Since it's called the "birth control pill", most people
- don't realize that when someone like Suzanne Forgach says that she'd
- allow birth control but ban abortifacients, "the Pill" would be included
- in the ban. Perhaps you didn't notice Suzanne's extreme reluctance to
- answer this the last time it came up.

- Actually, she only mentioned two categories, and gave examples for both:
- abortifacient drugs (like the Pill) and chemicals (like the IUD (one would
- assume she's referring to the "copper-top")).
