- are supposed to follow, since Jesus said what he said was to take
- precedence--while we're bible-thumping here. Unless you meant this only

- Which only shows that the ancient Jews (like many, many, other cultures)
- held a lower regard for life than MOST of us today.

- Laws change. Once upon a time, it was legal in many countries (let alone the
- southern US) to own slaves. Olde laws and customs are not NECESSARILY valid
- today. Try another tack.
