- I'm not sure how much could be stripped out of the original CM. What was
- removed for the Skylab flights? Plus, you're
- going to need a power system (presumably fuel cells) and an engine to de-orbit.
- So, we're back with some sort of SM. As I recall, we still don't know what the
- effect of cold on the heat shield would be, so we want some kind of cover too.
