  30. Read the prev posting to get correct. Esp. this ratio suggests that some
  31. whales (orcas, dolphins) compare even to humans.

  39. The most important thing is that as far as I see the Norwegian officials 
  40. (at least those who decided to restart whaling) do *NOT CARE* anyway if 
  41. whales are intelligent or not. Even if you could teach whales speaking, 
  42. calculating, doing arts and science, these officials would state that these 
  43. fact are not implying intelligence. And even if they admitted, this would 
  44. not prevent them from whale murdering. These people would anyway look on how 
  45. to make most profit.

  47. Moreover, according to a recent message, also Iceland prepares for mass 
  48. murder of whales. They seem to be at least more honest: they do not mention
  49. "scientific reasons". One reason besides eating them is claimed to be their
  50. fish consuming. But shrinking fish population is of course not due to the 
  51. whales, but to the Icelanders, and other people, who made their fishing 
  52. industries. Maybe other countries join. So Norway was the one who re-started
  53. this "war" against whales after the moratorium.
