- I'm curious about mathematicians' answers to the following 3 questions.

- 1. Would you be in favor of a project, the goal of which was to
- determine one trillion digits of pi?

- 2. Would you like the NSF to fund such a project for 1 million dollars?

- 3. If, as a result of this study, the distribution of digits in pi were
- found to be nonrandom, would you consider this to be a profound and
- important finding?
