- How about a member of the STK family? Example: STK463: 2x30W, 4 ohms, stereo,
- DM 25 (US$ 15), 2x25 volts, thd below 0.1%.
- Or TDA2002, TDA2003 (some watts, 5 or so).

-
- Not very much. Walkmen headphones make the hell out of 1/4 watt... and they
- have an impedance in the range of 30..40 ohms.

- Well yes, if you use hi-power opamps. But are there any that accept supply
- voltages in a range that you need to give it all to your 4 ohms speakers?

-
- Differs... some car stereos have bridged output! Connect the input of your
- amplifier with capacitors if the fuse dies. However, if you use the pre-amp
- output, there will be no problem with potentials.

- 12 volts won't suffice for high power and a 4 ohms load. +-24v or so will
- do better.

-
- You needn't stabilize the power for the amps. Your amplifier at home doesn't
- either.
- For your radio, 2 amps will be enough. Use a LM317 or something.
