- If it's talking to Macs, it is *not* using RS-422, because the Macs
- don't speak RS-422. They speak RS-423 (despite some misconceptions
- in some early Apple documentation). If it talks to Macs, it ought
- to be able to talk to most anything that speaks RS-423, perhaps with
- some fiddling with cables.
