  14. I have a 1984 Nissan Stanza and it has been behaving rather erratically for
  15. the last few days.

  17. The problem is that when turn on the keys to start it, it doesn't start.
  18. There is no clicking sound either. The batter is perfectly fine as I can
  19. turn on the headlights. Also, when I turn the keys the headlights don't go dim.

  21. This behaviour is not consistent either, for there are times when it starts
  22. without any problems.

  25. I think  that  there is something wrong either with the starting motor 
  26. or solenoid. It might just be a loose connection as it does start sometimes.

  28. Any ideas. Also can any one give me an estimate of getting the starter motor/
  29. sloenoid replaced.
