- Well, actually, the problem IS with a 9000.

- The first 5-speed trannys did have a problem, especially with 2nd gear, but
- that was corrected after a year or so. (on the 99/900 line, that is).

- I will concede some Volvos may last longer, but the SAAB is sure a hell
- of a lot more fun to drive! I think one of the reasons for Volvo's
- longevity reputation is the fact that they are, GENERALLY SPEAKING, severly
- underpowered.
