  35. Well, actually, the problem IS with a 9000.

  37. The first 5-speed trannys did have a problem, especially with 2nd gear, but
  38. that was corrected after a year or so.  (on the 99/900 line, that is).

  40. I will concede some Volvos may last longer, but the SAAB is sure a hell
  41. of a lot more fun to drive!  I think one of the reasons for Volvo's
  42. longevity reputation is the fact that they are, GENERALLY SPEAKING, severly
  43. underpowered.
