  11. I've had this same problem but on a thermostat housing.  The best way to solve
  12. this problem (that I've found) is to spread the blue RTV on the gasket surface
  13. and then wait a good 20 minutes.  After waiting, the RTV, although still soft,
  14. has cured to the point that you can fully torque the bolts and still not 
  15. squeeze the stuff out.  It works for me anyhow.
