- I've had this same problem but on a thermostat housing. The best way to solve
- this problem (that I've found) is to spread the blue RTV on the gasket surface
- and then wait a good 20 minutes. After waiting, the RTV, although still soft,
- has cured to the point that you can fully torque the bolts and still not
- squeeze the stuff out. It works for me anyhow.
