  17. This advice from a man who has not raced in two? years, has been driving a boat
  18. (literally), and who recently bought a (can you believe it?) shaft drive
  19. motorcycle.  Now that I've impugned his believability, I must say I agree 
  20. completely.  A hopelessly simplistic (it addresses only part of the problem and
  21. somewhat incorretly at that) explanation is that as tire section increases 
  22. with rim width constant you go from a load rectangle to a load triangle.  Which
  23. is more stable?  But, then again, what do I know (see questions in sig.)?
