- One option I've been thinking of doing is to purchase the performance computer
- ROM replacements (Hypertech and/or other manuf.). These do little for manuals,
- but do affect automatic trans. performance. I would imaging that they are
- "geared" more towards performance than mileage (within ROM change limits of
- course).

- The review in Hot Rod (sometime in '91, don't know exactly when) reported
- respectable gains, ~1 sec qtr mile time improvement, with an automatic. Not too
- bad for someone like me who doesn't have the ability or knowledge to make major
- changes to an auto.
