  26. One thing that comes to mind since I just did the intake manifold on
  27. my '87 Trans Am.  In the case of a water pump it may or may not matter,
  28. but on new cars (e.g sensor equipped), I have been told on more than
  29. one occasion that you should get "sensor safe" silcone.  I suppose that
  30. the chemical composition may destroy the sensors otherwise.
