  11. Greetings!  On a recent visit to the Mitsubishi dealer, the service manager
  12. noticed that my SO's 89 Mirage was idling roughly.  One of the procedures
  13. he recommended was to clean the air plenum.  He claims a throttle valve
  14. inside the plenum gets sticky due to carbon buildup.  The question is where
  15. did this carbon come from?  Where is this valve?  The factory shop manual 
  16. does not show the air plenum in enough detail nor does it mention cleaning
  17. it as a maintenance item.  Engine is the fuel-injected 1.5 liter.
