- Typically the move to bigger rotors requires a different spindle because the
- calipers must be further out radially to clear the rotor. If you go to a
- dealer they might (if they're very bored) look up the part numbers for the
- regular and sport models and see if the spindle is the same. The mounting
- point for the calipers is part of the spindle casting and not readily
- modifiable. Swapping spindles will require removing the springs/struts,
- ball joints, steering linkage, etc. also.
