  18.  Sounds entirely reasonable to me.  Ford Shop Manuals are written for
  19. Ford dealer mechanics, who presumably know how things work.  Not that
  20. they care; most of them get paid on commission, so they want to fix the
  21. sucker as fast as they can and move on to the next one.  "How it works"
  22. is extraneous information.
