- RR>My main concern is with the EFI. On my motorcycle
- RR>I have had to rejet the card to match the more efficient exhaust
- RR>system, but how does one do this with EFI? Is the EFI smart enough
- RR>to handle this by itself, or do I have to purchase one of those
- RR>"hot performance chips"? I'm really lost here...help!
-
- Yes, if it's based on air flow. You can check this out from
- manufacturer or some tune-up garrage. If it isn't you have a
- possibility to run too lean and damage the engine. Best way to
- make it run is to make a 'blue-print' tune-up.
-
- RR>Also, if you have any suggestions about from which manufacturer to
- RR>purchase headers , then please let me know.
- RR>I'm sure that Hooker makes them,
- RR>but I haven't really checked around.
-
- On my -72 Camaro I have aluminium injected Hookers. They last
- forever and probably are the only ones that really fit. Remember
- to use right gaskets and buy screws with that hexagonal hole to
- get them tight enough.
