- I will second this advice. I once had a 1984 Jeep with this problem, and
- one of my first thoughts was to go to a lower-temp thermostat. (The first
- thought was to strap the guy who designed the fuel line routing under the
- vehicle and let him ride around under there for a while to see how hot it
- got.) It worked like a charm.
