  23. yeah, the AVS-I is like that; it is a very sticky dry pavement oriented
  24. tire.  it should be considered an example of what yokohama produces for
  25. ultimate dry pavement stick in a street tire (as opposed to the A008RS,
  26. which is an example of what they produce for ultimate stick on dry pavement
  27. in a short lived street legal race tire.)  it should _NOT_ be considered
  28. an example of what they consider a rain tire.

  34. my Yokohama A509s are actually a stunning rain tire; i'm quite happy with
  35. them.  they are in the same ball park as the Nokia HTs i used to run,
  36. but a better dry pavement tire for performance applications than the
  37. Nokias.  i consider them a 3-season tire, and use true snows in the winter.
