- I have a Yamaha DSP 1000. And to be honest, there is nothing that compares. I
- bought it the day it was released in the united stated. It has better channel
- separation than anything else on the market and (to most peoples surprise) it
- has STEREO info in the rear channels. Nobody else does that. Not only that
- the amplification is better than that in the RXV-850 (much more dynamic) and is
- very CLEAN (approaching that of adcoms)... As far as Sony goes, they SUCK.
- Sorry to spoil all of your fun but..... Sony, if it breaks is going to take
- forever to fix, yamaha is much quicker... On top of that, Yamaha is so far
- ahead of everyone else, (I.E. They co-developed the digital ProLogic Chip with
- Dolby, they have the TRUE 70mm surround mode and 50 db channel separation, and
- they invented Digital Soundfield Processing) that it will be state of the art
- for many years before anyone else catches up.

- P.S. I am biased but I did a lot of research...
