- Well, there is a difference between Dolby Surround sound and Dolby ProLogic
- with surround sound. DS (not DPL) doesnt take the rear info out of the front
- and doesnt separate the center out at all. Phantom mode in DPL actually takes
- the rear out of the front and takes the center channel and send it mono into
- the two main front speaker thus (with good imaging speakers) makes it seem like
- it is coming from the center. But with a separate speaker (if it is of the
- same quality as your mains) will make a BIG difference in the sound... and not
- only that, it wont matter where you sit in the room... It makes a big
- difference.
