  18.     I think you're in for a lot of long, hard work. Unless you're one of
  19. those people to whom it comes naturally, but if that were true you'd probably
  20. already be doing it. 
  21.     As for me, I'm working on my first SF novel, have published one short
  22. story, and many articles as well as one nf book.
  23.     The things I read indicate that most novelists have to write several
  24. novels before they sell one. I'm still in the learning/investment phase.
