- I agree! For those who say: people should learn to use their newsreaders
- better, I say: not all newsreaders have as many capabilities as yours does.
- Mine does not have the ability to filter out articles for example. I see
- the list of all of the subject lines and have to read 'em all. I would
- prefer dividing misc.forsale.computers into four or five categories.
- misc.forsale.computers.mac for mac-specific items, both software and
- hardware
- misc.forsale.computers.ibm for ...
- misc.forsale.computers.atari for ...
- (any other computer categories would go here as well...)

- Then you could have a misc.forsale.computers.peripherals which would be
- anything sharable by different computers: hard disks for example.
- Therefore, no postings about hard drives would be allowed in the specific
- computer categories while postings about Mac Excel 4.0 would not be seen by
- PC users unless they were reading the .mac category. I expect there would
- be a better name for this other group than what I put above but I can't
- think of one right now.
