  15. I would like to ask for advice on how to repaint,if possible, canvas awnings. 
  16. What kind of preparation is needed (need to scrape waterproof/wax(?) coating), kind of paint to use, any special technique/hints, what to do after painting (waterproof again? with what?), and
  17. anything else you may want to pass along from your experience of doing the same.
