- Generally, if the difference in salaries is significant, it is beneficial to
- file joint. If both salaries are the same, it's possible that filing separate
- will result in lower taxes.

- I didn't believe this at first, it's true. If husband makes 50K and wife makes 50K,
- they usually pay less taxes filing separate. But if husband makes 35K and wife
- makes 65K (just to be pc!) then they pay less taxes filing joint.
