- I am sorry for the unfortunate incident, but I don't think Nissan warranty and
- the extended warranty cover a loss such as that. They only cover repair or
- replacement of defective parts. I bet somewhere in the warranty book it says
- it doesn't cover consequential damages. So as far as this warranty is concerned
- the best they can do is to give you a free fuel line.
- Your car should be covered by your comprehensive insurance and the contents by
- homeowners/renters insurance.

- The only avenue for lawsuit that I can see is if you buy the car in Mass.
- (which I assume you do from your address), there is a clause in the purchase
- and sale agreement about an implied warranty for merchantability and fitness
- of purpose. So you can claim that for ordinary purposes the car should not
- blow up after 15000 miles. I don't know if this is the dealer's responsibility
- or Nissan, though.
