  24. The provider of the 800-number can pay the long-distance carrier to provide
  25. the toll-free service to foreign countries served by that long-distance
  26. carrier.  For example, Verdix' Ada support hotline is available to
  27. the USA and Canada (the price for Canada dropped about a year ago, so we
  28. added it).  It isn't economical for Verdix to provide 800-service to
  29. European countries, or to Australia.
