- Well, what Amex did was change the little message on the bill that says
- "please pay by XX/XX/XX" -- but the "due date" is defined as "needs to
- clear before the next statement is cut" which is the "closing date" on
- the bill. I called them on this too, and they assured me that the due
- date was remaining the same, only the message was to "encourage" people
- to pay sooner ...
