- First, you must have Emacs running in a window somewhere. Then you must
- call server-start, either from .emacs or manually (M-x server-start). Then
- you can use emacsclient.

- I'll point out that emacsclient doesn't require X11, it'll work under
- sunview or (i)Screen quite nicely.
