  13. I've just got some X-server software for my PC, and we've just got
  14. Lucid emacs installed on our sun unix server, and I've just got it
  15. working (and it's neat!) but I have a couple of problems.
  16.  
  17. 1.  My edt emulation doesn't work any more.  Oh well, time to get rid
  18.     of that old baggage from 10 years ago when I was using VAX VMS and got
  19.     the EDT keypad burned into the ROM in my head...
  20.  
  21. 2.  When I invoke the MH mail command: "comp -editor lemacs", it barfs
  22.     on me with the following error messages: (begin)

  24. Initialization error: Wrong type argument: stringp, nil
  25.  
  26. load-path is nil
  27. exec-directory is nil
  28. emacs: No current X display connection to close
  29. whatnow: problems with edit--/home/fluky/thomson/Mail/draft deleted
  30.

  32. Nobody around here knows anything about MH mail, and few know much
  33. about emacs.  Can anybody out there help me out?
