  13. I'm writing a widget which is used as a direct child of a top level
  14. Shell widget. Because of what the widget does, it should be able to
  15. have a border, however somewhere between the initialize procedure and
  16. the Realize procedure the border width gets set to 0, I presume by
  17. the toolkit or the shell widget.

  19. Is there some easy way I can stop this happening? I have tried the FM,
  20. but it doesn't seem to be anywhere I can spot. I'd like to avoid
  21. creating a custom Shell widget :-).

  23. This is R4 and the Athena widgets. My code doesn't even mention the
  24. border width except to use it to calculate things, so it probably
  25. isn't me.
