  13. Our system has recently installed the Xkernel package from Columbia, and
  14. we were gradually in the process of converting our Sun3's to X terminals
  15. when we encountered the following problem:

  17. While running twm, if a ghost window comes up on the display, and is left
  18. idle without placing it somewhere, then after about 5 minutes, the entire
  19. session is killed, and the terminal returns to the xdm login window.
  20. This happens whether or not twm is the final process run in the user's 
  21. .xsession.  This did *not* occur while running twm under the previous
  22. Sun3 kernel.

  24. Has anyone else had this problem?  Is there an easy solution?

  26. Any help in this matter would be much appreciated.
