- Doesn't the printing speed depend on the amount of memory you have? I
- used to have a DeskJet PLUS (I now have a new LaserJet IIIP) and when
- I got Windows 3.1 I changed a three-page letter that used a
- combination of the printer's Courier and Prestige to one using Arial
- and Times New Roman. I printed both out and found that the TrueType
- letter printed about 10 percent FASTER than the one using the
- printer's built-in fonts. Really. My system has 16MB.
