  15. I have a Wyse60 with 2400 Practical Peripheral modem 
  16. as a remote worksatation. I am always having problem
  17. connecting to my main machine, which is running an
  18. application on SCO xenix 2.3.2.

  20. When I try to logon to machine sometimes I get 
  21. connect 2400 then I logon as usual, but sometimes
  22. while I am working on the machine line get some
  23. problem. If I try to logon again I just get the
  24. bell ringing no response from the modem at my main
  25. location. I drive miles from my remote location 
  26. to my main location to shutdown the system and 
  27. then I can logon form my remote location again.

  29. If I logoff from the application I can logon again 
  30. with no problem.

  32. Is there any solution there to this problem:
  33. If I get disconnected or interuption for some reason
  34. I logon to the system without bringing the system 
  35. shutdown.
