- Hi,
-
- I have a Wyse60 with 2400 Practical Peripheral modem
- as a remote worksatation. I am always having problem
- connecting to my main machine, which is running an
- application on SCO xenix 2.3.2.
-
- When I try to logon to machine sometimes I get
- connect 2400 then I logon as usual, but sometimes
- while I am working on the machine line get some
- problem. If I try to logon again I just get the
- bell ringing no response from the modem at my main
- location. I drive miles from my remote location
- to my main location to shutdown the system and
- then I can logon form my remote location again.
-
- If I logoff from the application I can logon again
- with no problem.
-
- Is there any solution there to this problem:
- If I get disconnected or interuption for some reason
- I logon to the system without bringing the system
- shutdown.
-
- I will appreciate if you send me reply
- directly to my mail box.

- thanks,
