- You may want to install FAS instead of the sio driver. I know that under
- ISC UNIX the asy driver would disable modem control in DOS mode, even
- for dialins, so that a hangup didn't terminate VP/ix. I don't know
- whether this is still true for the current ISC UNIX release. However,
- because VP/ix was developed by ISC it is likely that many vendors who
- implemented VP/ix support in their serial drivers copied the bug from
- ISC and therefore their drivers won't send SIGHUP to VP/ix, either.

- Under ISC UNIX and other UNIX flavours FAS has fixed this problem,
- so maybe it helps under Xenix, too.
