  14. I wrote a simple code to open a socket connection to a terminal server
  15. using a specified port number in order to bidirectional "talk" with a
  16. PostScript printer hooked up on it.

  18. The connection goes well except for first read() on the socket that
  19. gets a trailing garbage (always the same garbage) e.g.
