  14. It seems that there were just a bunch of postings about motif in this
  15. group but they seem to have all expired here.  I hope I'm not asking
  16. something that was just answered.

  18. I recently installed Ultrix 4.2 and Motif (whatever version I got with
  19. the OS (?)) on a DECstation 3100.  Occassionally motif completely locks
  20. up the console.  As far as we can tell it only happens when a DXsession
  21. menu is selected.  There is usually no problem at all using DXsession and
  22. no one using the machine has been able to determine exactly what triggers
  23. this behavior.  Basically, a menu is selected and then appears.  Then
  24. nothing else has any effect.

  26. Has anyone else seen this?  Exactly what causes it.  Is it related to
  27. motif or the session manager?  Any suggestions would be greatly
  28. appreciated.
