- Basically, the VXT 2000 comes with 18 fonts loaded in ROM. It is possible
- to load additional fonts with tftp through the vxt manager (note, this
- is a host based system). When checking the font path with xset, the
- following is returned:
-
- Font Path:
- LOCAL,vxt/fonts/vxt-x11r5/75dpi/fonts.dir
-
- The question: is there anyway to make the non-LOCAL fonts first in the
- search path.
-
- The reason for the question is that our operators run DECmsu which prefers 75dpi
- fonts otherwise you get overlapping windows, words, etc. I have reason to
- believe that DECmsu wildcards the fonts it chooses. When it does this,
- it just happens to hit the font in LOCAL first which is 100dpi.
-
- Any ideas?
-
- thanks.
