  14. I've recently installed SVR4 from Consensys on my 386.  I've had
  15. quite a pack of problems with this package, most of which have
  16. turned out to be my own fault, but now I'm stumped.

  18. I can't seem to get the serial port set up properly.  It looks like
  19. the OS is one character late.  Example: Type in "date" and you see
  20. "dat".  Hit CR and the "e" shows up.  Another character is needed
  21. before you get output.  Needless-to-say, this makes for an
  22. aggravating interface, especially when logging in.  I blame the OS
  23. because the serial port works fine under DOS and SCO Sys V.

  25. Anyone got any ideas or tips for further diagnostic research?
